Gluten is a protein which is usually found in many grains because it is natural. To name some grains that have gluten in them, these are grains such as wheat, corn(gluten is not in corn corn is gluten free), spelt, rye, and barley. If you don´t know what Gluten is here is an easy way to remember it. Gluten is what gives the wheat breads dough its "sticky" quality.

My Mom can't eat any Gluten. So I Have to know what she can't eat. The wheats that people that can't eat any gluten can't have Wheat, Barley, Rye, Malt, Starch (In the US Starch is Corn Starch unless it says otherwise), There are other things also. But here is a list of what people that can't have any gluten can heave Aramath Flour, Corn Flour, Corn Starch, Theres alot of Subistutes for people that can't have Gluten. Also people that can't have any gluten should stay away from food that say Gluten Free if they say on the indgredients Allergy Warning: May Contain Traces of Wheat, or Made in a Factory that also make Wheat Products or Made on Equipment that make Wheat Products. That way you can Advoid getting cross comtamiation.

Foods that contain gluten include: bread, cookies, muffins, pretzels, couscous, barley, breakfast cereals, and cheesecakes. Gluten can be hidden in foods such as blue cheese, salad dressings, soy sauce, some toothpastes, and imitation crab meat.
