All GM front "bumpers" are nothing more than thick plastic--chromed or painted. The aftermarket bumpers are steel but ugly, ugly, ugly. Only guy I know that makes good looking steel bumpers welds them up in his garage in Lakewood, CO. They are powder coated and can be made for winches. Used to be a Lakewood cop and saw many accidents. Any steel bumper will cost a couple thousand uninstalled. Try to grin and bear it.

To replace the door handle on a 2004 GM 2500, first, remove the interior door panel by unscrewing any visible screws and gently prying it away from the door. Next, disconnect the linkage and wiring harness attached to the old handle. Remove the screws securing the handle to the door, then take out the old handle and replace it with the new one, securing it with screws. Finally, reconnect the linkage and wiring, and reattach the door panel.
