RHS front wheel bearing I would say or RHS CV joint, examine the rubber booths on all cv joints and if yhey are dry they are ok, if they are grease spattered this means that there is a fractured booth and centrifical force will throw the grease out and the cv joint runs without grease thus wearing the ball and socket cv joint. If the boots are dry put some glycerene on a rag and rub into them this keeps them supple and won't crack This could also be a bad wheel bearing. Wheel bearings, when bad, are known to only make noise at certain times, such as when turning.
97 grand am rubbing/grinding noise from right front that is not wheelbearing or brakes
If a car is making a grinding noise in the right back wheel, it could be a sign that a wheel bearing is failing. It is necessary to take the car to a qualified mechanic for repair.
Bearings, cv shaft, or brakes.
have it checked you could have bent the axle and the noise would be the bearing
Bad wheel bearings usually cause a grinding noise, and are known to only cause it when turning.
If its front wheel drive possibly an axle.
Tie-Rod End may be going out. I'm thinking front wheel bearing.
Check the brakes for worn pads. The pad backer scraping the rotor is the most common cause of this type of noise.
most grinding noises that come from turning is usually a cv axle that needs to be replaced. Can also be a bad wheel bearing. If you hear the grinding when turning to the right then the left front wheel bearing is bad.
If its making a horrible grinding noise, it could be the bearing!
bad rack and pinion
Ball join lubrication or change!
