Task Force Task Groups are essentially groups of different Naval units (e.g., ships or submarines) assigned to one of the Navy's operational Unified Combatant Commands, or Fleets, around the world. While in homeport, they are assigned to their normal overall command; when they enter an area of responsibility that is covered by a unified command (e.g., U.S. Naval Forces Europe/Sixth Fleet in the Med), it is transferred to that overall command as part of a task group and larger overall task force. A Task Unit is just an individual unit (e.g., ship or submarine) within the group; an element is an individual or group of individuals that belong to the unit, or an asset that belongs to the unit. As an example, a Destroyer would be a Task Unit under an overall Task Group; if it has an onboard Helo for ASW operations, the Helo and its crew would be the Task Unit Element.
Roles should be assigned so everyone has a part in the group and no one will be left out.
Make sure that each member's contributions are noted.

The expression has to do with starting a task. When you are assigned a task, frequently one is told to "get x, now go do it". This has been shortened to "from the get-go". It means from the beginning. It is an Americanism that is creeping into other English speaking cultures. Yes, it means 'from the very beginning', but it is grammatically incorrect, a cliché, and bad English.
Since you're talking about 'gases' I'll assume you mean GROUP 18, which is assigned to the group of noble gases (was formerly -bef. 1960- known as group 81)cf. note)Helium,Neon,Argon,Krypton,Xenon,Radon.1) Note:Nowadays group 8 is assigned to one of the ten groups of transition metals: especially this one to Iron, Rubidium and Osmium. These are not gases at all.See also the related link.
