There are 2 KR sensors on the L67/L32 engine. They both sit on the bottom end (Block) of the engine. One is under the front exhaust manifold and the other is under the rear exhaust manifold.

The GTP does not have one it has Magnasteer which is all integrated in the steering rack & pinion which is controlled by the EBCM.

Technically, in order for the engine to run, the knock sensor is not required. However, it is definetly recommended to have the knock sensor on each bank in and operating properly. The reason for this is because the knock sensor senses and improper vibrations of the cylinder or piston in the cylinder wall. If any improper vibrations are occurring from improper fuel/air combustion, e.g. too rich, too lean, too much or not enough compression, etc., then the knock sensor measures the imperfection, and tells the PCM or ECM how to correct the issue. If the knock sensor is not installed and working, then such conditions cannot be measured. Sure, the engine will still run, but if the piston and cylinder begin to wear improperly in the cylinder wall, or any other issue needs to be corrected, your car will be unable to regulate these things in whichever bank the problems are occurring. Keep them both working! Hope this helps!

Yes you can, but you will need some things Here is a list GTP Supercharger w/ bolts and pulley GTP Throttle body GTP Fuel Injectors GTP Lower Intake Manifold GTP Cylinder Heads w/ valve covers Passenger motor mount GTP Harmonic Ballencer GTP supercharger belt tensioner and idler pulleys GTP MAP sensor GTP Vacuum lines Head Gasket set Head Bolt Set Lower Intake Manifold Gasket GTP Valve Cover Gaskets Supercharger gasket and coolent O Rings Throttle Body Gasket MAP/BBV harness adaptors PCM Tune In my opinion, you would be WAY better off just buying an L67 engine. I have seen those on craigslist from $200 to $500. Ya it will be a little bit more frustrating, but so will putting and replacing parts from a gtp onto your gt. But good luck though :)
