You replace the rear wheel bearings for a 1997 plymouth breeze by taking it to a very skilled mechanic and just waiting it out. If you want to do it yourself I can't help you with that.

Remove the center bolt for the C/V joint... remove rotor and brake caliper, there is 4 bolts that holds it on, remove the bolts and it will come off and install in reverse order. ============================================================== This isn't true for say, a 1989 Acclaim which has the front wheel bearings pressed it, as well as held in by 3 bolts into the spindle. The front wheel bearing is a sealed unit with the wheel hub - replace the hub and wheel bearing unit. Remove the four bolts from the rear of the steering knuckle that connect to the hub bearing unit.
The front wheel bearings are sealed and are not greaseable.

Front wheel bearings on a 4 wheel drive Explorer are not serviceable, replace them.
In order to replace a wheel bearing, the tire must first be removed on a Volvo v50. The wheel cowling can be removed exposing the bearings. After taking the bearings out, clean the housing and repack the bearings.
I recently did this for my 2004. I found it was cheaper to replace the entire wheel hub then to buy the bearings. The bonus is the new wheel hub comes with the bearings already to go.
