Female animals do not begin to produce milk until they are pregnant. My suggestion is to talk to a local vet for a formula for the puppies.
The same reason they swell on a human. That dog is preparing milk for a litter.
yes it is a mammal :)
usually it is tough in the beginning but there is nothing you can do. make sure she eats well and eventually the milk will go away - there is not much you can do. But i your dog has lost a litter just be supportive and make sure she is well looked after.
when mums produce the milk for their yung
no because the puppies still need the milk
no the body knows when it is pregnant and it fills with milk
it is the cells of the animals and the punnett square if it is a hybrid then it can have both sorts of puppies but what if it only has smooth puppies in the second litter??
Of course. Everyone knows that.
Why would you bury a dog in litter
i think when your dog is unable to produce eggs or milk, which varys from dog to dog but usually around ten im guessing
No. If your dog has milk fever, consult your vet. Sometimes calcium supplements throughout the pregnancy can help, especially if the litter is expected to be large.
Dogs start to produce milk when they need to feed their puppies. If your dog has milk but has no puppies, the puppies are probably inside the mother. You just need to be patient. Hope this helped at least a little bit! ;D
