It's called a Gina!!
I've heard that the pressure point located between your thumb and pointer is associated with the muscles in your shoulders and upper back. It could be that the pain between your thumb and finger is indicative of tension in your upper back. A good backrub couldn't hurt anyway.
Is it broken? The exact same happened to me except it is not bruised only swollen, and my dad thinks it is broken
A dislocated thumb will occur after the thumb joint has been placed under unusual stress, and will normally occur while playing a sport such as football, or if you fall hard on your hand. The symptoms include: immobility of the thumb, swelling around the thumb, pain (usually severe) and a crooked look to the thumb.
Pain between the thumb and index finger can be caused by an injury, such as a fall. It can also rarely be a symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome or a sign of over-stretching.
I'm guessing you mean inside the hand and I had that when my nerves were inflamed. Go see a doctor.
if it is a CBR, which is what my piercer used on me, you just place your pointer finger and thumb nail between the ball and the hoop then push the ball to the opposite side hard and it should pop off. i changed mine after a week of having it piereced and I've had no problems, and no pain! (:
if you have been sending text messages with your mobile and that kind of stuff too long.
The answer is pain
If you smashed your thumb in the car door, you can help get rid of the bruise and the pain by icing the thumb and taking ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
Keeping your finger in cold water will reduce pain.
It is characterized by a sharp pain in the lower right part of the abdomen. If you place your right hand flat on your belly with the fingers facing down towards your feet, and position your thumb on your belly button. Underneath where the tips of you fingers lie, is where the pain usually results.
Pain or numbness appears in the thumb and fingers, although the cause is farther up the arm, where the median nerve passes through the carpal tunnel from the wrist to the upper hand.
