Medications are not usually the cause of Meige's Syndrome so it is unlikely. But often the movements look similar and that is why it may be associated that way.
The movements are similar to those in Tardive Dyskinesia which is caused by long term use of some drugs, like tranquilizers. But they are less likely to have the blinking and more likely to have different types of tongue movements. In Meige's Syndrome the tongue usually protrudes intermittently while in Tardive Dyskinesia the tongue moves around more randomly in the mouth.
