All of us at one time or another get frustrated with our work which would include Thomas Edison. However, because of what he accomplished, I think we can safely say, he was a man who had a passion for his work, and realized the benefit it would bring to others as well as himself. Passion is key to success.

In fact, Thomas Edison had more than one job. At first he sold candy and newspapers on the Grand Trunk Railroad, were he set up a chemistry lab in an empty car to conduct his experiments. He later worked as a telegraph operator. Eventuly, though, he quit to become a full time inventor. Thomas was not only raised at home, he was home-schooled by his mother. Like many boys that age at that time, he took a job selling snacks on a local train at age 7, and sold newspapers at age 12.
