WikiAnswers cannot always answer everything accurately because WikiAnswers is not just a program that knows all things and will spit back a correct answer every time that a question is asked. It is a network of contributors and moderators that personally answer individual questions by choice. So, naturally, humans do make mistakes and cannot get everything right all of the time, so occasionally there are mistakes in our answers.
no , because there is always new question's to answer.
there are always new questions so why would you ask?
Thousands of questions are posted on WikiAnswers every day. As WikiAnswers relies mainly on volunteers to answer questions, it is not always possible for every question to be answered.
WikiAnswers is a Q&A wiki; it relies mainly on contributions from the community to answer questions. Therefore, questions submitted may not always be answered.
WikiAnswers is not always right because we can put in any answer we want. So it doesn't matter if the answer is factual, for at least it's on there.Because the answer are being answered by mainly people, not computers' operators. That's a put downer
That definitely is not the case. WikiAnswers usually has great, thought out, and well informed answers. Although some answers may be answered nonsensically, that is usually not the case.
There is a point to using WikiAnswers because questions do get answered. I know it might not always seem that way, but questions do get answered by other users that care. Do you need proof? You have this question. It just got answered.yeah but when you send questions to yhe community they don't get answered!
Every few seconds a question is asked and every few seconds another is answered. Since WikiAnswers is open to many countries, there is always someone awake and answering questions!
You can go back to the question you answered, and edit it to remove the answer. HOWEVER - the fact that you answered (along with what you typed) will always be shown in your activity history ! Everything you do on WikiAnswers leaves an audit trail for others to see - even if you delete your own answers. For example - I can see by your contributions - that you posted this question on the 21st of September 2012, at 8:03PM
They are not always reliable, but they are mostly. This is because they are written by ordinary people like you and me who don't always know everything, and get stuff wrong.
- Will you answer this question? - What is the opposite of the word "no"? - Do lazy students use WikiAnswers instead of reading their text books for the answers? (The answer to this question is not always yes. Many of the questions on WikiAnswers are legitimate questions and not just probes to answers from student assignements. The fact that the author who posted this response has many contributions to WikiAnswers indicates that he/she either is wasting their time by supplying answers to lazy students or that he/she deliberately chose to answer a question incorrectly.
