There is a point to using WikiAnswers because questions do get answered. I know it might not always seem that way, but questions do get answered by other users that care. Do you need proof? You have this question. It just got answered.

Why did you decide to go on WikiAnswers?

Glad you asked! Though people have different reasons, my experience is pretty common. I asked a question in Google search and WikiAnswers was one of the search results. I asked my question on the site and while I was waiting for the answer, I started answering questions. My question was answered pretty fast, but by then I was totally hooked on the site. That was in 2006 and I've been here since.

Why does WikiAnswers not always have the answers you want?

It may take time before your question is answered. There is a community of people out there waiting to answer your question, but you have to give it the best chance of being noticed. If you categorize it correctly, use proper spelling and grammar, there is a better chance it will be featured on the homepage or answered quicker.

What questions shouldn't be asked about Section 8 Housing?

I placed this question so that I can explain what you, the Community should and should not ask Answers.com so that you could get an honest and truthful, straight-forward, and logical answer. Examples of questions that are UNLIKELY to be answered include questions that are impossible to answer, for example: how long of a wait for a Voucher waiting list in a specific jurisdiction before there's an opening; Voucher dollar values according to bedroom size and qualification, and certain other questions that either will be impossible, difficult, or redundant, to answer. Questions here on Answers.com are answered by volunteer experts but not necessarily AND not likely by Public Housing Authority staff from any specific Housing Authority jurisdiction.
