UFOs are by their nature, impossible to prove. If they were proven, they would be identified and would cease to be UFOs.
This isn't really proven or anything but it is very interesting and facinating Please search: Leonardo de Vinci UFO Painting So when you asked: "Have Their been any UFO sightings proven" I thought of this painting. My reasoning is why would a extremely smart scientist and Painter paint a UFO in the background about 500 years ago when UFO's weren't even a thing yet? Did Leonardo really see a UFO? However According to the head of the secret Pentagon program they say that: " it has been proven beyond reasonable doubt".
Let's be clear: 'UFO' stands for Unidentified Flying Object. Any time that you see something flying and you are not entirely sure what it is, you are looking at a UFO. However, in the sense that UFO means "alien spacecraft", there have been no proven accounts of one existing.
No, because UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object, so if you identify it, it is not a UFO. Please note that so far, *no* UFO has ever been proven to have any connection with alien beings. In fact, so far, there is no solid proof of alien beings.

"UFO"s are real, and have been observed from many locations over many years. "UFO" is the acronym for "Unidentified Flying Object". Thousands of people have seen things in the sky that they couldn't identify. Therefore, since the observer in each case had no idea what they were seeing, each one was, by definition, an unidentified flying object, or UFO. And that's as far as you can go with it. If the question is asking about UFOs as spaceships, things from outer space, carrying space aliens, abducting humans, there has never been a shred of credible evidence of any of those things that stood up to serious examination.
There have been several of the past few years.
Many objects have been seen in the sky that are unidentified. UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object. This does not mean it is an actual thing flying-- sometimes things like light refection have been called UFOs. UFO is kind of a bad acronym. Not only do a lot of people somehow think it is an acronym for "alien spacecraft", but it carries the assumptions of "flying" and "being an object", neither of which is proven. Some use the acronym "UAP", Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon. Please note that so far, *no* UFO has ever been proven to have any connection with alien beings. In fact, so far, there is no solid proof of alien beings.
