Jim Thorpe starred in the NFL, played in the MLB and also had a short stint in the NBA.

MLB: Jim Thorpe played for the New York Giants, the Cincinnati Reds and the Boston Braves. Thorpe scored 91 runs, had 82 RBI and hit .252 in his 289 games played.

NFL: Jim Thorpe played for the Canton Bulldogs in the American Professional Football Association, which became the NFL. He played 52 NFL games.

NBA: Recently, it was learned that Jim Thorpe played pro basketball for a team called "Jim Thorpe and His World-Famous Indians". Although they were not an NBA team, they were professionals.
