Absolutely, I have heard of this wonderful young man. What a difficult time he lived in and how firm he must have been to stand for what he believed in against so many. He is one of the few that "stood against evil." I am thankful for his example.
Helmuth Hubener betrayed the Germans by being a reister,commiting treason and enemy proganda.He was stripped out of his civil rights and killed,he has a very intresting story to learn about..He lived for only 16 years.

The changes from reality are that Brother Worbs did not exist in Helmuth's life, as Helmuth was not involved in any resistance group within the prison. Additionally, the portrayal of Brother Worbs adds a narrative layer of guidance and mentorship to Helmuth's character development in the book.
