Yes, but they are extremely rare on the late 80's K cars. I like the short console used on the 87-89 Aries and Reliant w/ stick shift (weaker earlier transmissions had the shifter hardware under the floorboard and so did not require bucket seats and a console). even most of the (few) bucket seat cars were automatic..either column shift or floor auto with the big ugly console that connected to the dash. the 5spd makes for quicker acceleration and better highway fuel economy than the 3 speed auto. i just wish they had made the 2.5 available with 5spd. they did on other cars like the spirit (base model), shadow and daytona which are all direct spinoffs of the k car chassis.
