Has anyone had a problem with a 99 dodge with the cummins engine shutting down while pulling with a fault code of 368?

it is possible. The 368 code is related to fuel. Your transfer pump should be pushing 10-15 psi. if it goes less then 10 psi it starves and will ruin the VP44 injection pump. This a very common problem. it is best to run a fuel pressure gauge. CHANGE OUT THE TRANSFER PUMP, and hope you haven't toasted your injection pump.
