No. Hoax. Out to get your money, not refund it. Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040, (or 1-800-829-4477 if you have an actual refund to check on), and advise them of the scam and check the status of your account.
Envelope stuffing is the number one job scam.
Answer 1 Cashcrate is legit. You can pay for certain offers if you want to but you don't need to. There are a lot of free offers to do. I just received my check from Cashcrate for $30, so I know it's legit. Answer 2 I disagree with answer 1. Just research CashCrate scam and read some reviews. If you want to make money online legitimately research "Amazon Mechanical Turk". Though it takes forever to earn much money it is not a scam. Though some jobs are like scams (Typically the high paying ones) though not many. You can earn like a dollar an hour if you are fast and accurate.
To verify a check, you must contact the bank. If you suspect fraud, never call the number on the check as it may be part of the scam. You can verify a check with a land line phone for $5 per call. With the real bank phone number based on the routing number you can verify funds on the item. The only real way to get cash for the item is to show up at the bank the check is drawn on with your own photo ID and cash the check there. If you don't know where the check came from - contact the maker. The chance is the check is not real.
They are 100% Scam and they have cheated many people in past, once you register on credit card details, you are screwed. i have many people complaining about the same, and most important thing is that their predictions are from dates for which the website did not existed, they are claiming the past economic crices are their predictions, anyone can claim past, and there are many websites out their who are doing so.. and any one can sell hope of the better future.....
That is an old scam. I would not even reply to it and toss it away.
Yes, that one has been reported a few times. You can, if you have any doubts, take that check (Probably says "Multiplan") and see what your bank says. But don't send anyone any money or personal info!
No it is not a scam. I received several 10$ cards. Sometimes they send 10$ worth of credits that is 10,000 imvu credits. You can check this for other users opinion
The website "Check Messenger" was used to see if anyone has blocked you from chatting with them. Check Messenger was used by a lot of people but many say it is a scam.
Yes! Swipebids is a scam. Check out
No, it is a scam, i would bet my months pay that it is a scam...the only people that would insure a check are the people sending it, not the person receiving it. Again, it is BS, disregard it.
It's a scam. I received a letter too, but log on to consumer reports and you will learn that it's impossible to win money in a lottery that you have not entered. The check they sent me really looked real, but beware.
