Has anyone tried to swap a 4 cylinder in a 1991 GMC Sonoma with a 4.3L V6 from a 1991 Chevrolet S10?

This is possible to do but there are a few things you need to know first. A) Are both engines for a 2x4 or a 4x4? They must be the same type of engine. B) Check the bolt patterns on the transmissions. You have to make sure that the transmission from the Sonoma matches the bolt pattern of the S-10. C) Make sure you are changing all the engine parts including the brain box.
