Snowfall in February, albeit normally very light, has occurred 5 times in New Orleans since 1850. The snow in 1895 (February 14-15, Mardi Gras) was the most snowfall ever recorded in New Orleans at about 8.2 inches.

Other years with February snowfall were 1899, 1958, 1960, and 1973. Measurable snow has only fallen in the city 17 times in the last 160 years, and only three times from 1950 to 2008 was there ground cover that persisted to the following day.

Usually snows every winter on the Big Island of Hawaii but on other islands it is rare that it snows. But on the mountains of Maui it has a little bit of snow , where as on Oahu it never snows.

You probably need to be more specific in time frame. From my memory, snow once in Dec. 2008. Sleet Dec. 25th 2001, None in the 90's and sleet twice in the 80's.
