iTunes has not been implemented for other devices. It is espically designed for Apple's products such as the iPhone, iPods and iTouch. However, there are some programs similar to iTunes which offer similar services however not as great as Apple.
Sony has a similar program and just scratches the basic servers of what Apple can offer with it's itunes. I think its for the little sony walkmans.

Music is supplied for the use of an individual. Unless the other person owns the distribution rights for the music they are not allowed to pass it on to others. Both they and you are acting illegally. I don't believe that this answer is correct. It has always been legal to give music that you have legally bought to a personal friend. Apple even authorizes you to do that, but only to 4 other devices. But regardless of Apple, there is nothing illegal about giving music to friends. What is illegal is selling it.

this is simply because iphone uses itunes where as if a song was sent by bluetooth it may have been illegally downloaded. this way apple makes money from using itunes.
