Many of the things Dr. King referred to in his "dream speech" have come to pass. The following practices don't exist any more and haven't for a long time:
He spoke of vague, indefinite, undefined concepts. For example, he referred several times gaining justice and ending racial injustice. He does not define his meaning. Given the circumstances of his time and the rest of the context of the speech one can assume this is a reference to the elimination of Jim Crow laws which was done shortly after his speech. The prejudice against interracial marriage has all but disappeared. We have a black president, etc. But, his indefinite terms are subject to many interpretations, especially today where conditions for blacks are radically different than when he made his famous speech.
Yes, it's been realized after a long history of there being slaves, and discrimination etc., now we don't do that and it's against the law to have slaves and such.
