According to wunderground.com, between October 9th, 1987 & October 19th there was a Hurricane named Kelly in the western Pacific. (I always though Asian-Pacific storms were called typhoons...).
See the related link.
Yes, in fact! There was a Hurricane Sarah on September 11, 1967 heading towards Hawaii and the Pacific West Coast. Hurricane Sarah's are actually very rare, because the letter "S" is so late in the alphabet.
Nope, there has never been a huricane Jessica, Jess, Jessi, Jessie, or any variation of Jessica. The only way that can happen is if a hurricane with a female J name is very devastating and the name gets retired. But unless that happens there are no Hurricane Jessica's and will never be.
I don't think so, but there was a Hurricane Hanna in 2008 and there may be another in 2014 (it's on the list of names)
There was a tropical storm Amy during 1975 but it did not reach hurricane strength. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1975_Atlantic_hurricane_season#Tropical_Storm_Amy

Not in the foreseeable future. The name Jessica is not on any current lists of hurricane names. It could be used in the future, however, should a hurricane the a female name starting with J be bad enough to have its name retired.
