If you void the xbox360 warranty by removing the faceplate thing and you get the RROD can you still send it in for repair OR do you have to buy a new one?
From what I know if your warranty has ended Microsoft won't except it so I advice getting it fixed by a proffessional, do it yourself or buy a new one.

Microsoft has put out 1 billion dollars to fix this probable. I'm sure victims of the "red ring" got there 360 fixed for free. Microsoft installed fans in the new 360 like they should have done in the first place and arcade is getting a memory upgrade to 250 mu.
