Hello there. Yes there has been hundreds of cases where home pregnancy test have not worked on a pregnant woman. They dont work for various reasons such as faulty test, testing too early, not enough hcg etc. The reasons are endless. The most common reason is the HCG isn't being released into the urine or there isn't enough HCG in the urine to get a clear positive. This happens quite often. When this does happen a woman can continually get negative HPTs till she is three or four months pregnant. It is always adviseable to see your doctor for a blood test when you suspect pregnancy incase the above scenario happens to you. Its always best to find out. See your doctor for a blood test. Especially if your having pregnancy symptoms and no period. Good luck and please recommend me if I've helped you.
