Yes, there have been earthquakes which have occurred in Mali.
Yes. There have indeed been shark spottings in the canals of Venice. In 1956 an image of what was determined to be a large bull shark in the canals was verified by marine biologists at the Univestity of Bologna. Another sighting was documented and made headlines in the the summer of 1987.
No they are not, relatively few earthquakes have ever been recorded in Australia as it is a very stable continent with no active volcanoes and few if no earthquakes.
If you have ever felt an earthquake you will know they exist. Billions of people have felt earthquakes and many millions of people have been killed by earthquakes. Buildings collapse in many earthquakes. Earthquakes leave plenty of evidence and witnesses behind them that they happened.
No. Venice was built on wooden pilings in a lagoon.
From 1680 to Jan. 12-11, there have been 65 earthquakes. Sorry, couldn't find any for the rest of 2011 or 2012.
If you answer your own question, no one will ever know it hasn't been answered -.- No, earthquakes come from the tectonic plates underneath the earth's surface. They rub, grind, and collide. This allows for volcanoes, mountains, and earthquakes.
If you have ever been to venice you will know the answer. The canals and water ways are the sewers! Just take a wiff and/or have a look when you come across a canal that is dry when they are doing construction work on the canal or a building....as I did. You will notice drain lines discharging thru the building below the water line. No serwer notwithstanding it is still the most awe inspiring city in the world.
As strange as it may seem, Texas has had earthquakes. Within the last year, I have heard of two in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
