Scientifically, no. Most paranormal experiences are from anecdotal evidence, which can be observed as one of the least accurate forms of reference.

Many paranormal experiences can be explained by certain nerve endings firing in your brain to create an image so real you think that you have really seen it. Pilots who are put in the G-force test thing (where you're spun around and around in a bubble-shaped pod) often blackout and report 'near death experiences' but science can tell us that this is simply a product of the brain, not a paranormal experience.

People have had paranormal experiences. Most surveys that have been conducted strongly suggest this belief is common.

The term 'paranormal' is broadly encompassing. Many think it includes experiences and phenomena such as psychic abilities, UFO phenomena, cryptozoology, ghosts encounters to name a few. Mostly anything which might be considered 'anomalous' because it is outside the realm of established fact.

So in that sense, the 'paranormal' remains unproven.

Some things called 'paranormal' have more proof than others. For example, research in the scientific field of Parapsychology has demonstrated that extrasensory perception (ESP) and psychokinesis (PK) are indeed possible in controlled laboratory conditions.

These trials have been replicated many times by many serious investigators. And the results have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals such as the Journal of Parapsychology published by Rhine Research, the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research published by the SPR in Great Britain and the Journal of the Society for Scientific Exploration published by the SSE in the United States.

Skeptics contend that such research is methologically and/or analytically flawed. They further say that the investigators are biased or are attempting to prove some foregone conclusions. Actual review of the material however, suggests this is not the case. And it is becoming questionable whether the critics' arguments are not more evidence of their own a priori biases rather than defensible criticisms of the research.

The paranormal realm does exist....There are various experiences that people have had. Check out the blog site in the related links below.

This is a blog where people submit their true stories and experiences.

There is such a thing as ghosts because there might be one right behind you at this very minute but they can't hurt you so you shouldn't be afraid of them if you see one you should just talk to them and be friendly so that they will be friendly back.

The Law of Conservation and Energy can answer this. "Energy can't be created or destroyed". Humans use energy to function. But when we die, where does it all go? It can't be destroyed as stated by the Law of Conservation and Energy, but it also can't be created by nothing. When we die, it is safe to say that the energy moves on. This seems impossible, but a very similar phenomena has been discovered to be indeed true. This phenomena is called "Telekinesis". Telekinesis is the ability to manipulate objects with the power of your mind, seemingly from nowhere.

This leads to another argument: Are ghosts and other paranormal phenomena just mind tricks? Or are they indeed real? More than 50% of the United States population believe in ghosts according to a 2012 survey. Can this state of mind affect how we perceive things that we can't comprehend? Maybe.

However, at this point in time, there is no evidence supporting or disclaiming the existence of the paranormal. Which leads to something we all can think about, "If ghosts really don't exist, then the Law of Conservation and Energy is wrong". It is with this logic that I say "Ghosts are indeed real". Again, there is too little evidence that support the theory of ghosts, so all we really have are opinions and religion.

No one knows for sure, but there are presences that are unexplainable. I've had a few encounters with the "paranormal" in my childhood so I wouldn't doubt it.
