Your low beam headlight bulbs are probably both burned out.
GO AND BUY I NEW light bulb !
Check grounding wire's then use a test light
check fuses if ok it should be the emergency brake switch, when ebrake is on the lights will stay off. depending on the the car/truck there is a control relay. Make sure all fuses have been checked inside vehicle and the engine compartment there is fuses there too . Check Wiring for any shorts, broken, brittle wires . You have to look under the dash to do this . Follow wiring to the relay and test all for power. For best diagrams all data Make sure that your parking brake isn't on. Faulty Ambient Light Sensor.
Pull the fuses out and see witch one has visible brek in it.The owners manual has all the fuses in it.Needle nose pliers should be helpful
1- you did not properly check the fuses. Check ALL of them. 2- a connection has become lose 3- someone has turned the dimmer switch to OFF or very low. It may also have a problem. Place the dimmer switch to the mid position and see if the lights are on (dim). CHECK THE FUSE PANEL LOCATED UNDER THE HOOD IF YOUR VEHICLE IS SO EQUIPPED.
i checked the fuses and don't know if this is the problem---should i lood for somethin else?
check fuses , daytime and lights on use diff fuses.
Check fuses, breakers and relay in power distribution box
The daytime running lights are the low beam lights run by a specific circuit. If they don't work then check your fuses and then the wiring harness for damage.
When daytime running lights do not work, it means the bulbs may have burned out. It could also mean the fuses have failed or there is a short in the wiring.
It could be a number of things. First check all of the fuses. It could be the module which controls the lights but it needs to be checked out. There is also a relay for the daytime running lights on your car i would check into that if all fuses are good.
If the headlight that runs through the modulator first is out then the daytime running lights won't work. Change the bulb and the daytime lights should then work.
blown fuses
I'm not a mechanic/technician but I believe that is a defective daytime running lamp (DRL) module
you have a grounding problem. check the littel green wire coming off of the light switch, by the fire wall... make sure it isn't touching anything else.. good luck...
Do you have lots of paper or other debris/refuse on the dashboard?
If you are referring to the brake lights it is probably a bad brake light switch. Your vehicle may also have daytime running lights which would be on without the parking lights.
