The Problem was the Engine Coolant Temperture Sensor. IT was malfunctioning. It was telling the Engine it was cold Therefore sending to much fuel at startup when the engine was already warm.
If the check engine light is flashing as you are driving it means you are about to destroy the catalytic converter(s). Stop the engine and get it to a garage.

You can either bring it in to a Chevy dealer or use a programmer/tuner to reset the check engine light.
