Hhow do you convince your parents to let you get a MySpace?

What you want to do is let them have your password so they can check on it or tell them they can make a myspace themself and check your page often.

If they think it's too dangerous, convince them that even if someone tried to take you, tell them you wouldn't even say yes to meet them in the first place.

Make sure you yourslef is responsible, if your not, I don't think you have any chances. If your not, try to build up integrity & responsibility.

I'm trying to convince my parents to let me have a myspace, and I have a strong feeling they will say yes. All based on this info.

Tell them that myspace is actually good cuz you can block your profile and the only reason parents think its bad is because it is just all of the rumors i bet half of the parents out there dont even have one.

Obviously you wont go up and keep asking and whining.. you sit them down and you say the benefits and why you want and need a facebook I mean you can block people and its safer then any other site for chatting and commenting on ppls pics.. BUT you need to be mature about approaching your parents and you need to include how your friends have them and maybe get your aunt or uncle help convince them... I mean they were a teen 2 im sure they would understand... BUT dont keep on bothering them about this.. Is it is in the school year and they say it will distract u say then can i get 1 in the summer or somehting like that... hope that helps u!!! :)

Well I this is how i got a facebook: Mom, i think im mature enough to get a facebook; everyone BUT ME has a facebook, and i dont. its not even that bad! My friends have told me that theres an option that you can hide your stuff so only your friends can see it and no strangers can. You can get a facebook too! Then you can look at my profile every day if you want to! That way youll know for sure that im being responsible.

do your chores , listen to your parents, DO NOT BEG!,keep your room clean,ONLY ASK ONCE!, if you have a sibiling DO NOT fight with your sibiling, get good grades in school,tell them that you will make sure you will not be friends with anybody unless asking them.

beg. if that doesnt work then you should suck up to them. make the whole house clean. do the dishes laundry vacuum or something that needs to be done around the house. once they have seen how clean it is, ask them if you can have one
