Hi is it possible to tow a Jaguar XJ6 2.9 auto without disconecting the drive shaft because someone told me you coud over fill it with oil or somthing to protect the torque converter hope you can help?

Can't you have your tow guy strap the steering wheel and lock the straps by streching them outside the doors and then closing them? Threby allowing him to tow the car from the rear? Might be an idea to bypass the whole problem of the transmission. Maybe, maybe not, just a thought. Bud Sisto
Try a flat bed tow truck.. much less worry to the whole process...
