Homelite string trimmers are inexpensive brand that you can probably buy at Home Depot. Depending on how much trimming you have to do in your lawn, should help you decide on how much you want to put down on a trimmer. I suggest going with a Stihl trimmer or a Poulan Pro. You can probably find a bottom of the line residential unit from these brands for about what you would pay for a homelite maybe a few dollars more, but worth it.
