I have been doing dangerous removal of trees for 19 years. The price depends on the risk involved to the climber. Do you have an hourly wage you can put on how much your life is worth? Tree removal is seriously dangerous. To be honest the most i ever charged for 1 tree was about 4600$ it took 2 days. On average I would say i make about 100 to 110 per hour to climb and get on the ground only for dangerous trees. To haul everything away is cost of labor about 30$ per hour and cost of dump fees about 20 per ton and gas getting to and from the dump.
With me i will knock 50% off the job if i can leave everything there where it lays.
Be careful who you hire! Make sure they know what they are doing! Always get references no matter what. Thinking you can take a tree down and knowing involves years of experience. So be careful.
