You have to take the inside handle apart to activate the latch manually. If you can't do it from the handle area you have to remove the inside door panel.
Happened to me a few months ago. Remove the inside rear panel and pull the latch manually. Then you can unscrew the broken latch and replace it.
To fix a door with a broken handle on the outside that won’t open from the inside, first, check if the latch is stuck. Try using a flathead screwdriver to manually turn the latch from the inside if there's a visible slot. If that doesn’t work, remove the door handle and lock mechanism to inspect for any broken parts. Replace any damaged components or the entire handle set as needed, then reassemble the door.
Just about ALL parts are available from Daewoo USA, Carson Ca. This link should take you their http://www.daewoous.com/

The plastic inside door handle is probably broken.

Should be a release handle on the inside of the trunk behind the right side trunk panel. you can just pry the trunk panel back and reach your hand inside and grab the release handle
The problem is that the inside door handle is broken. Although the inside door handle needs replacement you can still open the door by pulling on the lock lever above the handle.
If the outside handle of your 1992 S10 Blazer is broken, you can try accessing the tailgate through the rear window. Use a flathead screwdriver or a similar tool to pry open the window slightly, then reach inside to manually unlock the tailgate latch. Alternatively, you can remove the interior panel of the tailgate to access the latch mechanism directly and open it from the inside. If these methods are not feasible, consider using a professional locksmith or technician for assistance.
To manually open a garage door from the inside, locate the emergency release cord usually hanging from the garage door opener. Pull down on the cord to disengage the door from the opener, then lift the door manually by grasping the handle or bottom edge. Be cautious of the door's weight and movement as you lift it.
