Do you see "Report abuse" on the right side of the page just above the question? Click on it and the question will be reviewed by a supervisor.
You don't know if someone opened a question. If the question is not about a celebrity or other well known person, the question is not allowed. Such questions are removed from the site.
Every action you've made on Answers.com is listed in your Contributions (see left navigation panel). You can look there to refind your question. Click on the link to open that question's page. Note: If any questions violated the site's rules, that question would have been removed.
When your question has been removed from the unanswered list that means someone has answered your question.
Unless the question is inappropriate or contains personal information then the question can not be removed off of the site. When asking a question the disclaimer below where you submit your question onto the site says "Questions become part of the permanent, collaborative WikiAnswers database." You should not be asking inappropriate or personal questions because that violates the site's Terms of Use, but if you do accidentally or you run across a question that should not be on the site then you will need to report it to one of the WikiAnswers supervisors who will deal with the question for you. Inappropriate questions can be trashed which hides them from view of users on the site, but only questions that contain personal information are allowed to actually be permanently deleted.
If the question is in the "Adds No Value" category, a Supervisor has deemed it to add no value to the site and therefore removed it from public view. If you disagree with the question being placed into the category and you believe the question you asked is legitimate, please e-mail GoodQuestion @ WikiAnswers.com (no spaces) with the exact question you asked and why you believe it should be included on the site.
There are a number of reasons why a contribution may have been removed.* Vandalism - If an answer is considered to be nonsense, harmful, malicious or otherwise inappropriate, it will be removed from the site. * SPAM - If an answer is considered to be SPAM then this will again be removed from the site. (Also any links that are posted in an answer may be transferred to the link section.) * Cyberbullying - If a contribution is insulting, or harassing then the comments will be removed.* Personal information - If a continuation reveals personal information about either yourself or another, then this information will be removed.* Discussion - If an answer is clarifying the question, or discussing what others think, then the comments will be removed and maybe transferred to the discussion boards where ever possible.

You generally cannot remove your questions from the site. When you ask them, they become a part of an ongoing repository. According to the terms of this site, asking a question grants irrevocable permission to the site to use the content. The only reason they would ever be removed would be if they break the rules as contained in the TOU or Community Guidelines.
No, only supervisors can remove questions off of the site by trashing them which hides them from regular users of the site. Supervisors are only allowed to trash inappropriate questions or questions that do not have enough information to be answered so just because you don't want your question on the site anymore does not mean it can be removed. Only questions that contain personal information in them qualify to be permanently deleted off of the site.
