In Counter-Strike 1.6, you can select grenades using the number keys on your keyboard. By default, the flashbang is assigned to slot 4, the high explosive grenade (HE grenade) is assigned to slot 5, and the smoke grenade is assigned to slot 6. Here are the steps to select a grenade:

Press the number key corresponding to the grenade you want to select. For example, if you want to select the HE grenade, press the 5 key.

You will see the selected grenade in your player's hand. To use the grenade, aim in the desired direction and press the left mouse button to throw it.

If you want to switch to a different grenade, repeat step 1 and select the desired grenade.

Note: You can also use the scroll wheel on your mouse to cycle through your available grenades. Scrolling up will cycle through your primary weapon and your grenades, while scrolling down will cycle through your secondary weapon and your knife.
