There are general recommendations printed on the back of the bag or can of cat food; from this you can adjust up or down based upon your cat's physical shape. A younger and more active cat will need more food to maintain a healthy weight than an older and less active cat.
The way to tell if your cat is a healthy weight takes two simple steps: look at your cat from above and see if there is a "waist" or a slimmer spot in the abdomen just after the end of the rib cage - this is normal and indicates a healthy weight for your cat. Second, gently run your fingers over your cat's rib cage - you should be able to feel the last couple of ribs but not all of them.
If you aren't sure what is a healthy weight, or if your cat has chronic disease or other health challenges, I recommend asking your vet at your next visit to help you determine how much of what food to feed your cat.

Give your cat something like cooked chicken or leftover meat. However these should only be fed in the short-term as a kitten will not get any nutrition out of cooked meat.
you lock the cat ina a room and let her do her thang!!!
You should feed a cat a cup of dry food (small pellets, I recommend Science Diet), and half of a small can of adult Science Diet wet cat food or 1/4 of a large adult Science Diet wet food can.
A Bombay cat should weigh about 12 pounds. If a Bombay cat is over 12 pounds then he or she overweight! If so try cutting down on cat food or fish
give the cat food and water then take the cat show the cat the food and water let it eat then run back inside very quickactually i think that giving it food and water will make it stick around you should probably just leave it alone and maybe he will leave soon......do not pet it!!!!
No, you should always give your cat only it's a designated food.
your cat should eat at least 1/3 of a cup of food mixed with wet food.
about 2 1/3 cups every day
You should give a kitty food three times a day, and a small portion of it. It should also be kitten food.
every day you should give a cat one scoop
Kitty food with kitty treats!
Chickens cannot vomit - however, if you give a chicken too much cat food, it will make them sick.
A little bit of cat food
Onions, Chocolate, too much high fat food, too much soft food can also lead to dental problems so give your cat plenty of dry biscuits too.ADD:Grapes and raisins are toxic for cats also, as well as anything with caffeine in.
You should probably ask your vet for advice on that.

I have a main coon and I keep her dish full all day. They like fresh food best so give them a little bit at a time and check the dish occasionally. The only way to really tell how much food to feed is to measure out the food, and weigh your cat once a week. Using digital scales will do. If the cat's weight starts to increase or decrease, alter the amount of food you are giving accordingly. The easiest way to do this is to give the cat set meals as opposed to leaving a bowl out all day.
