You Have To Have Wireless internet Connection. If You Have A Laptop And Connect Without A Cable, Then You Should Be Able To Connect On Your Nintendo Wii. Works Even If You Dont Have A Laptop. Go To The Nintendo Wii Settings, Or Something, And Find Internet Connection It Will Try And Find A Wireless Access Point, Like BT HomeHub. (Example) You May Have To Type In A Code. Ask Your Dad Or Mum Or Someone For It. If It Says Connected, Exit And Go Onto Mario Kart Wii. Its Should Work. If Not, Ask Someone Else. - TheWiiHelper

∙ 12y agoYou need a high speed internet router. If not, you can go to a Wi-Fi hotspots, such as McDonalds. Choose Settings, choose a new connection, use auto setup, and choose a router. If there's a gray lock next to it, ignore it. The top one is the one with the best signal. If it's blue, select it. If it's red, select it if you know the password. Then, choose WFC Match. You'll also get a Friend Code.

∙ 13y agoYou go onto the normal connecting screen, then try to connect. It will only connect if there are nearby people playing the Nintendo DS, I think it works upto about 30 metres, not sure though.
