The Thirteen colonies were heavily taxed by the British and deserved they had a right to be in the British government(after all they deserved a say, they were British colonies. They had no say in these choices of taxes.) many other contributors also led to the Revolutionary War. A war in which the 13 colonies (with a lot of help from the French [in fact, the French played a HUGEpart, winning would not have been possible without them, in fact we were far from it before they joined.] and some help from the Spanish) fought against the British for independence.
