Government is an essential teaching in the Kingdom of God - indeed the word translated Kingdom can also mean Government. From Genesis to Revelation it is presented to the reader. In the current make-up of the God Family, the Father is greater than the Word who became the Son.

Have you ever tried to do anything with someone else and allowed both of you to decide what to do, where to go, how to get there, etc. Just try walking a few hundred yards in a Shopping Mall and see if you both go exactly the same way and look at the same things. Surely one would say, hey, look at this or let's go this way soon enough. To have a more effective life, order is needed.

That is one of the lessons God is teaching us in our lifetimes. One must lead and that role was usually given to the 'firstborn' which was Adam. He provided shelter, security, food, primarily. Eve provided nurturing, family obedience, teaching the Scripture, primarily. These two generalizations can and do overlap at times or as needed. In God's eyes, a man is not more special than a woman as both are His children. But a man is held to a certain standard due to his position given when it comes to his role vis a vis a woman's role (who in turn is held to her standard). History attests to this fact in most all societies - not just the biblical patriarchs.

Proverbs 19:14New King James Version (NKJV)

14 Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers,

But a prudent wife is from the Lord.
