Here's what you need:
1: MIDI File sound module
2: MIDI sequencing program
3: MIDI keyboard controller
4: PC, MAC or IOS tablet (iPad, Galaxy etc)
5: USB or MIDI Interface
6: Professional and licensed MIDI Files
Connect a MIDI File sound module (like the Merish PLUS) or a MIDI synthesizer to a computer, iPad or other tablet via a MIDI interface like the Edirol UM and many other affordable interfaces. These are available at your local musical instrument store.
The other part set up is a good MIDI sequencing program.
For MAC, we recommend checking out Logic Express, Logic Studio or Cubase. For PC, try Sonar or Cubase. Mac users who want to do serious work with MIDI should not use Garageband. It's free but lacks the essential editing windows (like an event editor, score page) needed to create and tweak a MIDI File.
If you are using a MIDI sound module, then adding a MIDI controller keyboard will make entering MIDI data and playing in parts a breeze.
Where to get your gear?
You get legal and licensed MIDI Files guaranteed to work and already formatted to 'Load & Play' in any General MIDI device.
Software: For Logic, visit the Apple store. For Cubase, Sonar, go to their respective web sites for a dealer in your area.

If it's a very cheap keyboard, it may not have a midi out; but assuming it has, the easiest way is to get a midi to usb adaptor and connect using that.
MIDI is an acronym which stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. It is a set of programming rules used to govern the connection and interface of musical instruments with computers. Musical Instrument Digital Interface on a piano means MIDI u can connect it to a computer thru a midi interface or u can connect 2 pianos with a midi cable and perform what u want from the both pianos, like IN,OUT and THRU option.
MIDI is a standard interface so all MIDI devices communicate with one another in exactly the same way; there is no "best". You can connect the EZ-200 to any other MIDI-enabled keyboard and use one to trigger the other. Alternatively, if you have a MIDI sequencer on your computer you can connect the keyboard to it via a suitable MIDI-to-USB adaptor. This makes it much easier to store and retrieve performance and settings data. For more information on using MIDI, consult page 54 of the EZ-200 user-manual.
To connect the Keyboard to a computer or other MIDI-capable devices. If the PC does not have MIDI ports, one can use a MIDI-to-USB cable which are input and output.

A MIDI controller sends MIDI note messages to another device by MIDI cables or USB to a computer. If it is strictly a MIDI controller with no onboard sounds, it will have to connect to another MIDI device or computer to make sounds.

A Ensoniq KS-32 can be used as a MIDI controller. If you are using an audio interface that has MIDI ports, connect the MIDI Out of the Ensoniq to the Interface's MIDI In. If you don't have a MIDI port on your interface (such as with the Mbox Mini) you will have to buy a USB MIDI interface (they're about $40.00).
MIDI is an interface and protocol to connect musical instruments; it stands for musical instrument digital interface.
Most modern MIDI devices come with a USB link that passes the MIDI signal to the USB socket of the computer. If a USB connection is not available then a MIDI to USB adapter (See links below) can be added to connect the standard MIDI sockets to the USB socket. These are widely available from various manufacturers at varying prices. The Mac usually recognises when a MIDI device is connected but they can be configured with the Audio & MIDI setup utility found in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder.
