depend on the fuel system. if fuel injected. remove the fuel pump fuse, start the car. this will release the pressure on the pump. follow the gas line to find the filter, remove and replace with a new one. make sure you take the pressure off the system before you start. you could end up with a twisted fuel line and that is a bigger problem. After done, replace the fuse, restart the car. it may take a few cranks to get it running. make sure the vehicle is secured on jack stands before you crawl under.. after the vehicle is started. check the entire lenght of the fuel line, for leaks. hope it helps. duboff. if not fuel injected, follow the fuel lines to the filter. some engines have the filter in the carb. it is a good idea to have gas line plug to prevent gas from running all over. duboff.
