The question box is limited to about 200 characters. You can put extra information in Discuss, but you should try to reword your question so it fits in the box provided.

Yes, some people answer their own questions on the site. As long as a question is answered properly, any answer is valid no matter whether it was your question or not.
Anybody can edit most questions on WikiAnswers. Supervisors can delete questions, but we generally do not.
