Christ atoned for the sins of all mankind, but the atonement is only affective if the person remains sinless. We only remain free if we obey all of the commandments. There is always the chance of repentance, but to commit the same sin again and again can nullify the blessing.
Jesus Christ is the son of God who was sent to the earth to save us from sin.
The human spirit is dead and bound in chains by sin. You aren't free until Jesus sets you free. You can also become possessed by a demon, but nothing can beat the power of Jesus Christ. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty! :)
No, he didn't. He wanted us to be free in a sense that we would be free from sin, not free and great lives. He wants us to live for him since he died for us.
Jesus did have a free will.
well the answer to this question is Jesus is god but in human form and he came as us and died for us to set us free of sins . Jesus took him self low because he is not a show off he does not call him self God but the son of God>
Jesus gave His life so people could be free from the penalty of sin. He also sent the Holy Spirit to give power to us to obey his will and to live a righteous life.
Simon
There free
if you mean your religion as in catholocism, then it is because she is the mother of Jesus christ our savior. if it was not for her jesus would not have been able to come and free us from our sins
he has a special place for us Christan in heaven. he made a home for us. when we go up there there will be no scars no pain no crying and no sickness. and he is using us to spread his word through the world The word 'Christian' means Christ follower. We are followers of Christ Jesus. Christ means the 'anointed one'. He is our Savior...died for our sins so we don't have to die a spiritual death which would forever separate us from God the Father. Believing in Him and what He did is what saves us...and so much more. He also came to free us from the bondage of sin. Many sins for instance are like bad habits we can't seem to stop on our own...hence the words, slaves to sin, used in the bible. Jesus sets us free from from those sins so we can have freedom in Him and a better life. As Christians we follow His teachings and His examples and are to be 'like Him'.
he can help us but we have to ask for his help and we have to help our selfs we all have free will so its our own choice at the end of the day
No one is truly born free. Not even lions. Only Jesus makes us and animals and the world free: If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John8.36)
