If you're buying the oil yourself, you'll need to purchase at least 5 quarts of '''5W-30.''' The actual engine capacity is approximately 4.7 liters. If your getting the oil changed buy any service provider, (i.e. the "quick lube"), they should know these numbers in their sleep. Just make sure they show you the engine dipstick to verify a full pan once the work has been completed.

REGARDLESS WHAT THE "QUICK LUBE" PLACE MIGHT SAY, Toyota SPECIFIES THE 2006 SIENNA (3.3L V6) REQUIRES '''5W-30''' FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE. IF THEY'RE OUT OF 5W-30, WAIT OR FIND ANOTHER CHANGE FACILITY.

TOYOTA OEM BRANDED OIL IS SEMI-SYNTHETIC. AS SUCH, AT A MINIMUM, ALWAYS USE SEMI-SYNTHETIC PRODUCTS TO ENSURE PROPER ENGINE PERFORMANCE. FULL SYNTHETICS ALSO WORK WELL BUT ARE NOT REQUIRED BY SIENNA SPECS. '

SIDE NOTE: The Sienna uses the same engine as the LEXUS RS 330 (3.3L V6). Granted, it's tuned differently for less performance, but is otherwise the exact engine used in the LEXUS. Treat it as such! Mid-grade gas and synthetic oil seem to work best and provide good performance gains.
