A Windshield reflector reflects 90 percent of the dangerous UV light that comes from the sun along with the light you can see with your eye. UV light can not be seen with the naked eye. Ultra Violet light causes a reaction in the fabrics it touches which bleaches it. It dries the leather and turns the fabrics white or at least "whiter".
