Airplanes turn by rasing one aileron and dropping another. Normally, an airplane climbs (or pitches up) by dropping both elevators, and descents (or pitches down) by raising the elevators. In a turn, the pilot wants one wing to climb, and the other to descent (in a way). So in a turn, one aileron turns up, and another turns down, making the airplane bank. The lift in level flight is directly perpendicular to the wings, and in a bank, it still is. If the plane is tilted, the lift is also tilted, so the airplane is pulled to the side by the lift. This makes the airplane turn.
No, they do not have traditional turn signals but have flashing lights.
yes, but turn it off at the start when they tell you too.
They put one of the wheels in drive, and the other stays put so it turns.
The rubber band would turn and cause the propeller to move. When you launch it, it will cause the propeller to turn, causing the airplane to fly.
All gliders are airplanes, but not all airplanes are gliders.
Yes, jets really are airplanes but they are faster airplanes.
airplanes are cool
they control the plane to go left or right.if a planes ailerons don't work the plane cannot go left or right FOREVER. Not true. Airplanes can (I have done it myself as have many pilots) go left and right by use of the rudder alone but it will be a slow turn to a new heading and the plane will skid sideways during the turn. Also multi engined airplanes having one or two engines, for example, located on either side of the body can do a skid turn by applying more power on one side than on the other.
Yes, jets are airplanes but they are called supersonic airplanes.
Yes, airplanes are aircraft. However, not all aircraft are airplanes. Helicopters, blimps, and balloons are aircraft- but they are not airplanes. Airplanes are generally fixed wing machines that move through the air.
Airplanes.
Something about airplanes
