An atomizer works by first squeezing the ball on the top. The change of pressure in the bottle allows the contents to come to the top of a tube. When the air in the ball is released, the scent at the top of the tube is sprayed.

Why the search of ancient philosophers did not stop with the discovery of the atom?

People are very curious. When they discover one thing, they want to know how it works, how it fits in, etc. They continue seeking answers, so the search did not stop, but actually started with the discovery of the atom.

Is an atom with six electrons more stable than an atom with one?

No. A atom is stable when it has a full valence shell. The way this works is (2,8,8,8...) For an example magnesium which has 12 electrons. Magnesium loses 2 electrons ( so it has 2, 8 and then has a full outer shell) to gain a full outer charge which results in a charge of 2+.
