As a parent of teenagers, I appreciate your willingness to admit that you've "screwed up" and "messed up big time". It says to me that you're willing to admit your mistakes and that you're willing to overcome them. I won't try to tell you exactly what to say to her parents, but I can tell you that if my daughter's boyfriend came to me and sincerely apologized for getting carried away with my daughter, I would be somewhat more willing to accept his presence in her life more than I would be if he simply ignored the situation. Just be honest and mature with them, letting them know that you made some mistakes and ask for their forgiveness. Good luck!
