Both Muslims and Christians are treated the same in China. Both religions are heavily persecuted because the government is atheistic. Those who do not conform to the tight governmental controls are sometimes subjected to surveillance, restrictions on movement, arrests, torture, and execution.
As a native Christian living in Israel I can say the following:
Islamic - Christian relationship has been good for generations. I strongly believe that the only ones who can start a true dialog with Islam are Christians of the Holy Land since they share the Arab culture and history, with the Islamic world, and enlightened with the Christian mentality.
Having said that, in recent years many issues developed between the two communities, this due to several factors of which I will mention the main two: 1. the growth of fanatic Islam 2. the policy of the Israeli government.
By the Muslim community, Christians are part of the Arab Nation however are treated as Christians.
Another good question would be, how are Christian being treaded by the Israeli Government, the answer to that would be "they are treated as Arabs".
Jews, Muslims, Christians and Druzes.
Christians and Jews are treated by Muslims with kindness, peacefulness, and tolerance. Muslims allow them to practice their ritual worships freely and safely.
